First up in our Where in the World are our Fisk Wesley Students are Taylor Bostic and Jaece Huston.

Taylor Bostic is a Rising Senior. During her summer Taylor is working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a local Nursing Home/ Assisted Living Facility in her home state of Indiana. In this Role Taylor works the night shift, and dedicates her evenings to making sure her residents are dry, comfortable and safe throughout the night.  When Taylor is not working, she is spending time in the classroom taking classes at Indiana University!

Jaece Huston is also a rising Senior who is dedicating is summer to doing justice and Advocacy work. At the start of the summer Jaece hosted Collin College’s third annual Juneteenth Celebration. This month Jaece is also headed to North Carolina to participate in the HBCU Southern Summer Institute for Worker Justice. To round out his awesome summer work Jaece has also spent time over the summer serving as summer teacher for pre-K students.

This summer, Jonathan Calhoun,  Worked as a lead lifeguard for Clayton County Georgia. Alongside this  Jonathan undertook an  internship with a Fulton County Judge that allowed Jonathan to get a hands on experience in the justice system in Georgia.  The internship included, getting a chance to meet eh Governor of Georgia, as well as various lawyers in a variety of different law practices, and having a chance to take note on different active court cases. Over all it was a wonderful introduction to what it may be like to work in the law & justice fields!
